Calling All Student Entrepreneurs
The Student Technology Innovation Challenge (STIC) is an excellent
opportunity for Calgary post-secondary students to learn the skills of
technology entrepreneurship and apply those skills through a technology
business plan competition.
STIC offers a free Technology Business Development Seminar Series,
with the opportunity to compete in a Southern Alberta business plan
competition with the top 3 finalists moving on to compete in
the province-wide TEC VenturePrize competition.
Prize Packages 2011/2012
Southern Alberta Regional Finals
1st Place: $6,000 Cash + In-kind Technology Commercialization Service Package
2nd Place: $2,000 Cash
3rd Place: $2,000 Cash
VenturePrize Student Business Plan Competition
Grand Prize: $6,000 Cash + In-kind Services
Two Runners Up: $2,000 Each in Cash + In-kind Services
