Any industry is acceptable, but with a priority focus on ICT, biomedical, industrial and manufacturing, geomatics, and clean tech

A novel, platform technology with the potential for multiple revenue streams and recurring income

A strong market opportunity, large enough to attract outside investors in future financing rounds

A significant and defendable competitive advantage

A dedicated entrepreneur or inventor who is fully committed to growing the opportunity on a full-time basis, OR a researcher who is prepared to serve in a meaningful role in the company until it becomes self sustaining
